Usai menuntaskan tugasnya sebagai staf khusus Menteri Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Abdul Wahid Maktub mengabdikan dirinya di dunia pendidikan. After completing his duties as a diplomat, most recently serving as Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam, Ibnu Hadi chose to devote himself to education.
