The millennial generation (born in 1982-1995) is visualized as narcissistic generation, unruly, egalitarian, a lot of volition, and easily bored. However millennial generation also have a lot of potential and positive personalities. To optimize all the potential in the millennial generation, Dr. Maria Jacinta Arquisola, BA, MHRM and Marissa Astika B.Sc., M.B.A from President University attended the event of “CEO Talks Beyond Theory | Leading Millennials”. The speakers are Handry Satriago, CEO of General Electric Indonesia and B. Hugo Diba, CEO of Coils at Studio 1, Epicentrum XXI Kuningan, Jakarta at November 2018 (7/11).

Dr. Sugiharto, Former State Minister of State Owned Enterprises 2004-2007 shared the story about his life journey to President University students in the event "Motivation and Leadership Series: Lesson Learned from Dr. Sugiharto" which took place at President University campus, Cikarang (13/11). The event was also attended by Dr. Chairy (Secretary of President University Foundation/ YPUP), Handa S. Abidin, Ph.D (Vice Rector for Communications and Partnerships), and approximately 60 students and lecturers.

President University Foundation (YPUP) signed a memorandum of understanding with two Singaporean companies, Universal Octagon Pte. Ltd and SkillsSG Venture Pte. Ltd. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Prof. Budi Susilo Soepandji (Chairman of YPUP), Melvin Yo (Director of Octagon Universal) and Anderson Tan (Director of SkillsSG Ventures) located at President Lounge, Menara Batavia, Jakarta (12/11).

President University held a general lecture titled ”Populism in Europe and Asia, East Asia and Its Effects on Foreign Policy” delivered by Dr. Andreas Ufen (Senior Research Fellow of German Institute of Global and Area Studies Institute of Asian Studies Hamburg, Germany) at Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University (8/11). Law Study Program students of President University attended a socialization by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) on Consumer Protection which was held in President University campus (8/11). The event was part of roadshow by OJK to educate students on financial literacy. Hudiyanto (Deputy Director of Consumer Protection OJK), Jourdan Kamal (Founder and CEO of Maubelajarapa.com), Zenny Rezania, S.H., M.H (Head of Law Study Program), and approximately 70 students and lecturers attended the event.

The student of Civil Engineering Study Program of President University visited the project of elevated toll Cikampek II KM 15 400, Karawang, West Java, on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. The visit aimed to observe the pier-head reversal process using the Sosrobahu method. The field visit started from 8 pm to 12 am. The project belongs to Jasa Marga but constructed by PT Waskita Acset. 28 students accompanied by Roselina Rahmawati S.ST., MT., Head of Study Program of Civil Engineering, Prihartono, Civil Engineering Lecturer attended the event and welcomed by Subagyo with all team members of PT Waskita Acset.

Internship Career Center (ICC) of President University held Focus Group Discussion entitled “Strengthening the Link and Match in Digital Era” which was attended by the representatives of private companies such as PT. Jababeka, Tbk, L’ Oreal Manufacturing Indonesia, Aprisma Indonesia, Bukalapak, Mattel Indonesia, Supernova Flexible Packaging, Bank BCA, Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Indonesia, Multistada Arah Sarana, Omron Manufacturing Indonesia, IBM Indonesia, Invosa System and all Head Study Programs of President University. The event was held on October 31, 2018 at President Executive Club, Jababeka Industrial Park, Cikarang.
