Internship & Career Center (ICC) President University in collaboration with Amazon Web Service (AWS) held a webinar on Thursday (7/23). The Indonesian Regional Manager, Data Center Ops, Alvin Siagian, and The Global Training Manager, Data Center Ops, John Le Tissier from Amazon Web Service were invited as the key speakers for this webinar. They discussed the infrastructure of AWS, Cloud Computing, AWS leadership principles, Internship roles they look to hire, and the typical day at AWS with more than 100 participants.
Continue ReadingResponding to global challenges, President University is committed to providing the best service to the international students at President University, as well as Indonesian students at President University who want to enhance their skills by joining student exchanges abroad. This effort was demonstrated by the International Office (IO) of President University by conducting comparative studies with prestigious Indonesian universities, one of which was Universitas Diponogoro (Undip). The International Office team of President University met with the International Office team of Universitas Diponogoro online on Wednesday (7/22). This activity was an implementation of the partnership agreed by the two universities in 2019.

The decreasing income due to a lower purchasing power has greatly impacted the company/individual cash flow. As the cash flow is decreasing, we are expected to keep fulfill the daily needs. Responding to this situation, President University launched an e-commerce platform called Digibarter.

On this occasion, she shared her experience of studying at President University and how it helped her in pursuing her master's degree at Griffith University, Australia. She chose President University, specifically Industrial Engineering because she saw broad employment prospects from Industrial Engineering graduates. Moreover, because President University is located in the big industrial area, students can easily learn from industry through compulsory internships program.

Genoveva, M.M., the Head of Management Study Program at President University and Ade Andriani, S.Kom., M.M., the Head of Management Study Program at Universitas Kristen Papua. Through this webinar, both of them delivered material about entrepreneurship to young people in Papua.

Abidin, SH, LL.M., Ph.D., was invited to be a speaker in the webinar "Cooperation between Universities of Indonesia - Vietnam" on Friday (7/10). This webinar was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi with the aim to explore opportunities for cooperation between universities in Indonesia and Vietnam in fields that are eminent to both countries and as a means of building networks between universities in Indonesia and Vietnam.
