Creating a Start-Up That Has a Social Impact with TaniHub

The speaker who attended the webinar was Her Sanyoto, Head of Partnership and Social Impact of TaniHub. Sanyoto hopes that explaining what TaniHub has done to farmers in Indonesia can inspire and motivate PresUniv students who are developing their own Start-Ups.

President Univ Students Become Finalists in NWC 2021

Maulana Azis, a student of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program at President University (PresUniv), participated in the National Welding Competition (NWC) 2021 as a finalist, Thursday (9/9). NWC is a welding competition that is participated by state and private polytechnic or higher education students from all over Indonesia. This competition was organized by the Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung, attended by more than one hundred participants from various universities in Indonesia. This year, NWC raised the theme “Persahabatan dan Kompetensi untuk Menguatkan Pendidikan Vokasi.”

Ready SetSail Batch 1: Guide Students to Become Reliable Entrepreneurs

Ready SetSail Batch 1 is an intensive business mentoring program for six months for nine startups owned by President University (PresUniv) students. This program was initiated by SetSail BizAccel, a business incubator owned by PresUniv. As a form of mentoring activity, SetSail holds a workshop from September 14 to December 6, 2021. Eleven companies will present workshop materials on entrepreneurship, namely TaniHub, Bintang Kecil, Sinerka, Social Innovation Acceleration Program (SIAP), Thein Coffee,, Havanah, Optika Lunett Eyewear, Pandahos, Alterra Academy, and BukuKas.

The Buddies President Univ Team Wins First Place in International Competition: IESC 2021

The Buddies President University (PresUniv) team became the first winner in the Industrial Engineering Scientific Competition (IESC), Saturday (11/9). The Buddies team consisted of Putu Aulia Pranagita, Ibrahim Iskandar Chairullah, and Henrikus Banu Alyodya. All of them are students of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, PresUniv, batch 2019. IESC is an international competition that is open to all Industrial Engineering undergraduate students from Indonesia and abroad. This year, the theme of IESC is Business Resilience: The Continuity of Businesses to Grow Amidst The Uncertainties in a Post Pandemic Industry.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dra Genoveva, MM, Head of Management Study Program, President University (PresUniv), was successfully selected as the Best Paper in the Call for Papers of the ISEI Congress XXI & National Seminar 2021. This congress raised the theme of Peran ISEI dalam Penguatan Sinergi untuk Mengakselerasi Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional di Era Digital. Genoveva picked the topic of Empowering MSMEs and Cooperatives with the article’s title The Sustainability of Women'S Smes During the COVID-19 Pandemic. This article was then presented online at the ISEI Call for Paper, Tuesday (31/8).

PUMA Electrical Engineering Discusses Covid-19 Vaccination from the Psychological Side

The spread of Covid-19 is still happening in Indonesia. Everyone must work together to prevent the spread of this virus. It was conveyed by Drs. Antonius Suhartomo, M.Eng.Sc., M.M., Ph.D., Head of Electrical Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv), in the “Why do We Must be Vaccinated” webinar. This webinar, held by the President University Major Association (PUMA) Electrical Engineering, Saturday (21/8), was attended by 393 participants. The topic being discussed was the Covid-19 vaccination program from a psychological point of view. The speaker whom PUMA Electrical Engineering PresUniv invited was Dr. Zulvia Oktanida Syarif, Sp.KJ, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Tarakan Regional Public Hospital.
