ELLC, President University, Receives a Visit from the Language Laboratory Team, Pasundan University

On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, the English Literacy and Literature Center (ELLC) at President University (Presuniv) welcomed representatives from the Language Laboratory of Pasundan University (Unpas). The visit by the Pasundan University Language Lab aimed to gain insights into language learning at ELLC and Presuniv. The visiting team included Dr. Deden Novan Setiawan Nugraha, SS, M.Hum, Head of the Language Lab at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Irma Rahmawati, S.Pd, Language Lab Instructor, and U. Permana, an educator at the Language Lab. They were received by Ani Pujiastuti, Ph.D., Director of ELLC, and other staff members. During the presentation, Ani explained that ELLC was established due to Presuniv's adoption of English as the medium of instruction. The MigrAllies Team, International Relations Program, Collaborates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Discusses the Exploitation of Internship Students

On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the MigrAllies team from President University (Presuniv), consisting of 10 students from the International Relations Study Program (IRSP), Faculty of Humanities, organized a guest lecture and workshop on the topic of Protecting Indonesian Citizens Abroad through the 'Peduli WNI' Portal and Safe Travel Application. The speakers for this event included Judha Nugraha, Director of Indonesian Citizen Protection, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, along with a team comprising Darius Erlangga, Adrianta Gunawan Pramana, and Mentari Queen Glossyta.

The Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Environmental Engineering Study Program Students from President University Visit Suzuki's Factory in Deltamas, Cikarang

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, students from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, along with several students from the Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering Study Programs, all part of the Faculty of Engineering at President University (Presuniv), visited PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor car factory located in the Greenland International Industrial Center, in the city of Deltamas, Cikarang, Bekasi. Accompanying them on the visit were the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Dr.Eng. Lydia Anggraini, ST, M.Eng., Nanang Ali Sutisna, M.Eng., a lecturer from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, JB Susetiyo, the Director of the Internship and Career Center, and several other staff members. During the visit, the Faculty of Engineering group was welcomed by Kevin Orkananda from the Strategic Planning, Corporate Communication & CSR Department of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales and Mariana Yekti Nugraheni from the Marketing & Promotion Department of PT Sejahtera Buana Trada, along with their respective teams.

President’s Lecture Alumni Series #7: Four Alumni Speak on Global Climate Change

On Thursday, March 28, 2024, President University (Presuniv) once again invited alumni to be speakers in the President’s Lecture Series: Alumni Series #7 held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium. This time, the theme addressed was "Fostering Local Innovation in Addressing Global Climate Change." The seminar featured 4 alumni from the International Relations Study Program, class of 2011. They were the CEO of Ecoxyztem Jonathan Davy, CCO of Ecoxyztem Andreas Pandu Wirawan, Associate Manager at Kopernik Muhammad Fahrian Yovantra, and Partnership and Communications at Ecoxyztem Ratna Sudaryo. Several Presuniv lecturers also attended the event, including the Head of the Center for Environment, Disaster Resilience, and Sustainability at Presuniv, who is also a lecturer in the Environmental Engineering Study Program, Dr. Ir. Yunita Ismail Masjud, M.Si., and a lecturer in the International Relations Study Program who also served as the moderator, M. Sigit Andhi Rahman, Ph.D.

President University Holds a Guest Lecture in the Presidential Lecture Series entitled What is a Company with Prof. James Hoopes

On Tuesday, March 19 2024, President University (Presuniv) held a Presidential Lecture with the title What is a Company? This guest lecture was held at the Fabrication Laboratory (Fablab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. The speaker this time was Prof. James Hoopes, Murata Professor of Ethics in Business at Babson College. Present at the event was Dr. Drs. Chandra Setiawan, MM, Ph.D., as Chair of the Supervisors of the Presidential University Education Foundation, Dr. Iman Permana, BS (PE), MM, as Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Ruhmaya Nida Wathoni, BBA, M.Sc, Supervisor of the President Research Center who was also the Master of Ceremony for the event, as well as several students and lecturers.

Wednesday, March 20 2024, President University (Presuniv) signed an Agreement of Understanding or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT TÜV NORD. The agreement was signed by Presuniv Chancellor Handa S. Abidin, SH, L.LM, Ph.D. with the President Director of PT TÜV NORD, Herdiansyah, at the Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Cikarang, Bekasi.

"Call to Action" by RePoSol: President University Students Donate Humanitarian Aid to Rumah Harapan Orphanage

In the spirit of social care and sharing, the RePoSol "Call to Action" team consisting of President University (Presuniv) students distributed donations to the Rumah Harapan Orphanage on Saturday, March 16, 2024. They collected donations from the campus and the community, including food, clothing, school supplies, toys, and other necessities, for the children at the orphanage.

Students from the International Relations Study Program, at President Univ, Perform Social Work to Helping to Overcome Education Gaps among Children

Sunday, March 17 2024, 15 students from the International Relations (HI) Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), who are also members of the SUNSHINE group, carried out social activities at the Carita Reading Park in the Daan Mogot area, Duri Kosambi , Cengkareng, Jakarta. They have been doing this activity for some time. On that Sunday they carried out teaching and learning activities. "The activity that day was to get to know how to blend coloured paints with slime and hone children's recognition of different textures. "Apart from that, we also introduced the children to the types of waste that can be recycled and those that cannot be recycled," said Jennifer Tesalonika, Project Manager from Sunshine.
