President University Holds a Guest Lecture in the Presidential Lecture Series entitled What is a Company with Prof. James Hoopes

On Tuesday, March 19 2024, President University (Presuniv) held a Presidential Lecture with the title What is a Company? This guest lecture was held at the Fabrication Laboratory (Fablab), President University Convention Center (PUCC), Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. The speaker this time was Prof. James Hoopes, Murata Professor of Ethics in Business at Babson College. Present at the event was Dr. Drs. Chandra Setiawan, MM, Ph.D., as Chair of the Supervisors of the Presidential University Education Foundation, Dr. Iman Permana, BS (PE), MM, as Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Ruhmaya Nida Wathoni, BBA, M.Sc, Supervisor of the President Research Center who was also the Master of Ceremony for the event, as well as several students and lecturers.

President University and Epicor Indonesia Hold Digital Transformation to Support Manufacturing 4.0 Seminar

On Tuesday, March 19 2024, President University (Presuniv) held a seminar entitled Digital Transformation to Support Manufacturing 4.0 together with Epicor Indonesia, an ERP software company. The seminar was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, 5th floor, Presuniv Campus on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Jababeka City, Cikarang. Present at the seminar were speakers from Epicor. They were Vincent Tang, Vice President of Epicor Asia, Jalal Setiawan Senior Solution Engineer for Epicor South East Asia, Andy Mulyawan, Territory Manager for Epicor Software Indonesia, and Adhi Firmansyah Country Manager for Epicor Software Indonesia. From Presuniv, the Vice Chancellor for Academic, Research and Innovation Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, ST, MBA, Ronny Juwono, S.Pd, MT, Head of the Information Systems Study Program (Kaprodi), Cutifa Safitri, Ph.D., Head of Informatics Study Program, and hundreds of students as well as other lecturers and staff.

"Call to Action" by RePoSol: President University Students Donate Humanitarian Aid to Rumah Harapan Orphanage

In the spirit of social care and sharing, the RePoSol "Call to Action" team consisting of President University (Presuniv) students distributed donations to the Rumah Harapan Orphanage on Saturday, March 16, 2024. They collected donations from the campus and the community, including food, clothing, school supplies, toys, and other necessities, for the children at the orphanage.

The Industrial Engineering Study Program Held a Public Lecture, Discusses Life Cycle Assessment

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv), held a public lecture titled "Life Cycle Assessment." This public lecture was conducted in a hybrid format. Some participants attended in the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor, Presuniv Campus on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang, while others joined online. The speakers for this public lecture were Dr. Rijal Hakiki, SST, MT, a lecturer from the Environmental Engineering Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Presuniv, and Dr. Ineu Widaningsih, ST, MT, a lecturer from the Industrial Engineering Program.

President Development Center, In Collaboration with Chindo Business Center and KADIN, Holds Mandarin Language Training

On Thursday, March 12, 2024, the President Development Center (PDC) at President University officially commenced its Mandarin language classes. This program is a result of collaboration between PDC, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), and Chindo Business Center. The inaugural Mandarin language class was conducted online. The first class started with Introductory level Mandarin. In addition to learning Mandarin, participants will also delve into Chinese business culture, such as interactive techniques for booth presentations at business exhibitions, contract discussions, price negotiations, and more. Classes are to be held twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday.

President Univ Students Joined in RePoSol "Call to Action" Conduct Waste Recycling Social Project Workshop

Saturday, 9 March 2024, students from President University (Presuniv) held a Recycling and Crafts Social Workshop for the Jababeka area. The workshop, which intended to inspire environmental conservation and creative skills, was held in the Theater Room, President University Convention Center, Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. This event was initiated by 11 students of the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Humanities. They named their group RePoSol "Call to Action".

The International Relations Study Program, President University, Hosted a Guest Lecture by the Ambassador of Sri Lanka Prof. Jayanath Colombage, Discussing the Blue Economy

On Friday, March 15, 2024, the International Relations Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), organized a guest lecture featuring Admiral Prof. Jayanath Siri Kumara Colombage, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Indonesia and ASEAN. The guest lecture, titled "Blue Economy: Sri Lanka’s Cooperation with Indonesia," was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor of Building A, Presuniv Campus on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang. The event was attended by Presuniv Rector Handa S. Abidin, SH, L.LM, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Dr. Mohammad Syafi’i Anwar, and Chair of the Master of Law Program Dr. Dr. Fennieka Kristianto, SH, MH, MA, M.Kn., as well as hundreds of students from various programs.

The International Relations Study Program, President Univ, Visits the Ornamental Fish Cultivation Research Center in Depok, West Java

On Thursday, March 14, 2024, faculty members and students of the International Relations Study Program at the Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), visited the Ornamental Fish Cultivation Research Center (Balai Riset Budidaya Ikan Hias or BRBIH) of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Depok, West Java. According to Dr. Indra Alverdian, a faculty member of the International Relations Study Program, "This visit aims to enhance students' understanding of the opportunities in ornamental fish cultivation and the ornamental fish minapolitan program developed by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries."
