President University (PresUniv), in collaboration with British Chamber (BritCham) Indonesia and British Council Indonesia, held a webinar entitled “Useful Techniques and Scholarships Opportunities to Study in UK", Wednesday (27/01). This webinar aims to give information for PresUniv students who wish to get a scholarship to study in England. The speakers for this webinar are Chenny, Business Development Services Officer at BritCham, Andri Wulan, Recruitment Marketing Team at BritCham, and Yuli Vega Tukidjo, Marketing Officer Study UK at British Council.

Monday (25/01), the Joint Hope Polytechnic (PHB), Tegal, Central Java, held a visit to President University (PresUniv). The second visit was conducted in the context of a comparative study. President University (PresUniv) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Esri Indonesia, a geospatial technology provider, Tuesday (26/1). The MoU signing ceremony which was held online by the Chancellor of PresUniv, Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, with the CEO of Esri Indonesia, Dr. Achmad Istamar, attended by the Director of PT Jababeka Infrastruktur (JI), Tjahjadi Rahardja, and the entire PresUniv academic community.

Mechanical Engineering Study Program Students Learn Solidworks Application

To improve the skills of students, the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv), held a Solidworks training. This training was held at the CAD Mechanical Engineering laboratory in the Medical City Complex, Jababeka industrial area, Cikarang. The training activity which lasted for two days, Monday-Tuesday (18-19 / 1), was attended by students from batch 2017, 2018, and 2019. During the training, students learned about Solidworks features by trainers from PT Prosinergi Multitama.

Controversy over the export of lobster seeds has become a polemic in the community. PSTE Study Program Create First Graduates

Monday (12/01), Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PSTE), which is a new study program at President University (PresUniv), succeeded in producing its first graduate, namely Purnama Dewi (batch 2017). Purnama passed with a thesis entitled "The Impact of Synchronous Online Learning on Students Attainment in Maths". Her thesis supervisor is Disa Evawani Lestari, a PSTE lecturer. Adjusting to the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire advising process to the thesis defense were held online.

Perina Amelia Wins Cerpen Kejar Mimpi Bekasi Competition

Management study program student, President University (PresUniv), Perina Amelia (batch 2019), won first place in Cerpen Kejar Mimpi Bekasi Competition with the theme "Adaptasi di Tengah Pandemi”. Perina get a high assessment from judges with her short story entitled Recik Virus yang Ditabur Semesta. “At first I wasn't sure I could win, because 15% of the votes came from likes. In fact, my short stories that uploaded on the Kejar Mimpi application did not get a lot of likes, ”said Perina, who writes short stories to fill her time.
