On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, students from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, along with several students from the Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering Study Programs, all part of the Faculty of Engineering at President University (Presuniv), visited PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor car factory located in the Greenland International Industrial Center, in the city of Deltamas, Cikarang, Bekasi. Accompanying them on the visit were the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Dr.Eng. Lydia Anggraini, ST, M.Eng., Nanang Ali Sutisna, M.Eng., a lecturer from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, JB Susetiyo, the Director of the Internship and Career Center, and several other staff members. During the visit, the Faculty of Engineering group was welcomed by Kevin Orkananda from the Strategic Planning, Corporate Communication & CSR Department of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales and Mariana Yekti Nugraheni from the Marketing & Promotion Department of PT Sejahtera Buana Trada, along with their respective teams.

                Throughout the visit, the Mechanical Engineering group received explanations about Suzuki's history in Japan and Indonesia, information about their products, and various facilities located at the Suzuki factory in Deltamas. "Some production processes in the factory are carried out by robots, but there are still some that require human labor," Kevin explained. After receiving presentations in the classroom, the group observed the car production process firsthand in the factory.
