Cultural Heritage Preservation in Facing the Flood Threat in Jakarta

According to the Disaster Monitoring and Response System (DMRS) and The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINET), there is no data about cultural heritage in danger in specific areas of Indonesia. The findings of the DMRS and ADINET were revealed by Dr. Jeanne Francoise, lecturer of the International Relations Study Program, President University (PresUniv), at the 16th APRU Multi-Hazards Symposium 2021, Wednesday (24/11), which was held by Disaster Risk Reduction Center, University of Indonesia, in collaboration with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU).

Setsail Holds Workshop on Lean Startup

Setsail BizAccel, President University (PresUniv), again held a workshop for the participants of Ready Setsail Batch 1, Monday (22/11). Ready Setsail Batch 1 is an intensive business mentoring program for six months for nine startups owned by PresUniv students. This workshop discusses lean startup by presenting David Boy Tonara, Chief of Alterra Academy. Alterra Academy is a coding boot camp for everyone with an IT and non-IT background to become a programmer with the best quality. The workshop was guided by Ruhmaya Nida Wathoni, Project Manager of Setsail BizAccel.

Nadila Karerynda from Management Study Program Becomes a Finalist for Wajah Pesona Indonesia 2021

Nadila Karerynda, a student of the Management Study Program, President University (PresUniv), took part in a model competition with the theme Wajah Pesona Indonesia 2021, Friday (12/11) to Sunday (14/11). Nadila, batch 2021, managed to become a Finalist for the Best Catwalk category at a national event organized by Plor Management and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

ICC Bureau Holds FGD for Business Administration, Accounting & Actuarial Science Study Programs

Thursday (18/11), President University's Internship and Career Center (ICC) Bureau (PresUniv) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for Business Administration, Accounting and Actuarial Science Study Programs under the Faculty of Business. This FGD brought together representatives from companies that are partners of PresUniv. They are Winda Vanita Deenanti from JD.id, Bertha Yulianti representing PT Yasulor Indonesia (PT Loreal Manufacturing Indonesia), Welly Adrianto from Hendrawinata Public Accounting Firm Hanny Erwin Sumargo (Kreston HHES-Audit Partner), Mourits Rompah who is a partner at the Actuarial Consulting Office. Steven & Mouritz, and Gilang Perdana representing PT Smart Multi Finance.

Accelerate Post-Pandemic Economic Recovery with Green Recovery

President University (PresUniv), which is part of the Building Universities in Leading Disaster Resilience (BUiLD) consortium, held a national webinar Disaster Resilience: Sustainable Green Recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic, Saturday (12/11). This webinar was guided by Filson Maratur Sidjabat, ST, MT, lecturer of Environmental Engineering Study Program, PresUniv, and presented two speakers, Dr. Rissalwan Habdy Lubis, S. Sos,. M.Sc., Vice-Chair II of IESA (disaster management research cluster), and Ryan Auriol, CEO of Narasea Indonesia and Marine Guard Assistant Econusa Foundation.

President Univ Team 3rd Place in Mandiri Goes To Campus 2021 Competition: Trading Competition.

Thursday (11/11), the President University (PresUniv) team won third place in the Mandiri Goes To Campus 2021: Trading Competition organized by Bank Mandiri. This inter-campus stock trading competition was attended by around 1,500 participants from various private universities and lasted for one month. PresUniv was represented by five students, namely I Gusti Putu Ranantha Mas Pratama (Actuarial Science 2019), Raja Solomon Fukel (Actuarial Science 2019), Farel Arden (Information Technology 2019), Staenly (Actuarial Science 2020), and Ajeng Geby Syafitri (Management 2020 ).
