What's happening in PresUniv
Thursday (18/11), President University's Internship and Career Center (ICC) Bureau (PresUniv) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for Business Administration, Accounting and Actuarial Science Study Programs under the Faculty of Business. This FGD brought together representatives from companies that are partners of PresUniv. They are Winda Vanita Deenanti from JD.id, Bertha Yulianti representing PT Yasulor Indonesia (PT Loreal Manufacturing Indonesia), Welly Adrianto from Hendrawinata Public Accounting Firm Hanny Erwin Sumargo (Kreston HHES-Audit Partner), Mourits Rompah who is a partner at the Actuarial Consulting Office. Steven & Mouritz, and Gilang Perdana representing PT Smart Multi Finance.
There are two main focuses of FGDs, namely evaluating the performance of PresUniv students or graduates who have internships or work in companies, as well as a profile of the company's need for HR for the next 2-3 years. "The input from this FGD will be used by study programs to improve lecture materials, including preparing new materials that are in line with the company's future needs to create links & matches," said JB Susetiyo, Director of ICC.
Several companies admit that PresUniv students or graduates who have internships or work in their companies have entirely satisfactory performance in terms of both soft skills and hard skills. Said Mouritz, "PresUniv graduates who work in our office have quite good competence. They are quick to get to work and can be relied on for big projects." Meanwhile, Bertha from Loreal assessed that the performance of PresUniv graduates did not meet the company's expectations. "Previously PresUniv graduates have always met our expectations.
