Setsail BizAccel, President University (PresUniv), again held a workshop for the participants of Ready Setsail Batch 1, Monday (6/12). Ready Setsail Batch 1 is an intensive business mentoring program for six months for nine startups owned by PresUniv students. This workshop presented two speakers, namely Roy Poan, B. Sc., MBM, lecturer of the Business Administration Study Program, PresUniv, and Donna Herliana, Online Community Engagement Supervisor from BukuKas, a financial bookkeeping application. This workshop was guided by Ruhmaya Nida Wathoni, Project Manager of Setsail BizAccel.
Continue ReadingOne of the problems that arise when trying to block the heat from the sun is that the view to see out the window is also blocked. Researchers from Nanyang Technology University (NTU), Singapore, managed to find a solution to solve this problem. The solution is electrochromics smart windows. To discuss the details of this invention, the Environmental Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv), presented Ronn Goei, Ph.D., a senior research fellow from NTU, to be a guest lecturer in a guest lecture entitled High Performance Electrochromics Smart Windows: Energy Savings for Green Building, Thursday (2/12). Ronn is one of the researchers who participated in that project.
Continue ReadingBureau of Internship and Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for study programs under the Faculty of Engineering, Wednesday (01/12). This FGD presented representatives from companies that are partners of PresUniv. They are Niken Kastubamani and Pingkan Zanita Islamiati from PT Pertamina (Persero), Mintari Yulianingsih and Yon Guretno from PT Jasa Marga (Persero), Farianto and Varid Erlangga from PT XL Axiata Tbk, and Yuda Pamungkas representing PT Innovation Solusi Transportasi Indonesia or better known as PT Frogs Indonesia.
Continue ReadingThe Alpha Team from the Industrial Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv), batch 2019, won third place in the Ecopreneur Diponegoro National Innovation Business Plan Competition, Friday (26/11). This competition was organized by the Faculty of Business Economics, Diponegoro University, and was participated by more than 40 teams who were active students from all universities in Indonesia. The Alpha team, consisting of Bernadeta Holly Ayuningrum, Fina Dyah Setyaningrum, and Sophia Margareth Tobing, also received the category of Warmnest Team Ecopreneur 2021.

The signing was carried out by Prof. Dr. Vadim Bogush, as the Chancellor of BSUIR, and Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto, Chancellor of PresUniv. The handover and signing of the MoU document were witnessed by Victor Borisyonok, the attaché for Politics, Interparliamentary, Information, Education and Culture, the Belarusian Embassy to Indonesia, and Handa S. Abidin, SH, LLM, Ph.D, Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs ,PresUniv.
