Many President University (PresUniv) students are enthusiastic about continuing their postgraduate studies abroad. To channel these aspirations, PresUniv held a Scholarships Talk: LPDP with three speakers, namely Hanif Adinugroho Widyanto, Richard Kuhon, and Ruhmaya Nida Wathoni. All f them are from PresUniv. Hanif is a lecturer in the Management Study Program, Faculty of Business, awardee of the Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek), which is funded by the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP), to continue his doctoral education (S3) at the University of Sydney, Australia; Richard is a lecturer in Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, BPI scholarship awardee to continue his doctoral studies at University College London, UK; Ruhmaya is an alumnus of the Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Business, who received a master's scholarship for the Entrepreneurial Path. The talk was held through the Clubhouse application, Thursday (12/8).

According to Ruhmaya, usually called Maya, there are still many university graduates who do not know the types of LPDP scholarships. One of them is the Entrepreneurial Path that Maya is following. "I chose this program because I have a background as an entrepreneur. Through this program, I want to learn more about how to develop a business," she said. Maya then shared tips on how to get an LPDP Entrepreneurial Path scholarship, such as explaining the problems that occurred and why it was essential to do so, the impact of these problems on social life, market size, and of course, making a clear financial strategy.

In his session, Hanif explained the BPI program specifically for education personnel in Indonesia. He admitted, in the registration, he felt less confident. Learning from his experience, Hanif suggested the audience to have a mentor as the helper first if they want to apply for a master's scholarship abroad. Another suggestion was, "Have taken the TOEFL test six months before registration." Meanwhile, Richard Kuhon highlighted the importance of alignment (alignment). "There must be harmony between the topic of a doctoral research proposal, its significance and urgency for Indonesia, and the applicant's research interest as a lecturer or researcher," said Richard.
