President University Major Association (PUMA) Law held a Legal Expo 2021 entitled Portrait of Law: Impartiality towards Humans, Saturday (3/7). This activity aims to introduce legal cases that often occur in Indonesia by explaining the materials that have been provided so that the Indonesian people are more aware of the law and know how to handle, process, and the consequences of every action taken. Participants who attended consisted of PresUniv lecturers, PresUniv students, and high school students.
Continue ReadingSaturday (3/7), President University Student Union (PUSU) held the Closing Ceremony of Sport Olympiad President University (SOPU) 2021. For the first time, this year's SOPU was held online from 7 June to 3 July 2021. This change certainly made The type of competition being contested also changes. Previously, many competitions involved physical activities, such as futsal, basketball, volleyball, and triathlon. Currently, SOPU 2021 only holds e-Sport competitions, such as Valorant, Dota 2, Mobile Legends, Point Blank, Stumble Guys, PUBG, and Chess.com.

For this reason, PresUniv again held a Vaccination Program for the second vaccination dose at the President University Convention Center (PUCC), Thursday (1/7). This program is intended for lecturers, education staff, and other stakeholders within PresUniv and the Yayasan Pendidikan Universitas Presiden (YPUP). Previously, the vaccine participants had received the first dose of injection at PUCC, 2-3 June 2021.

Based on Pasal 1 Ayat 1 Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 18 Tahun 2003 tentang Advokat, Advocates are people who provide legal services, both inside and outside the court, who meet the requirements based on the provisions of the applicable UU. Then, what about the professional ethics of advocates? Chatrine, Advocates at Sandi Lee Advocates, discussed the material in the Law and Ethics webinar organized by the President University (PresUniv) Management Study Program, Saturday (26/6). This webinar was hosted by Suwinto Johan, Lecturer of PresUniv Management Study Program, and Dativa, PresUniv Student. Dr. Dra Genoveva, M.M., Head of PresUniv Management Study Program, also attended this webinar.

President University (PresUniv) again held the President Collaboration (PRESCOL) on Thursday (1/7). It is a regular monthly activity between representatives from universities and the chairperson of each student institution at PresUniv. This time PresUniv held a different PRESCOL from previous months by inviting all PresUniv students to join this activity. Not only that, the session was not to discuss technical organizational issues as usual, but a sharing session from the Bureau of the International Office (IO), PresUniv, regarding student exchange programs overseas.

It was a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Law Study Program PresUniv. The event with the theme “Dies Natalis Law x A Star is Born” started from 09:00 to 16:00. The theme was chosen because it was in line with the competition activities that they held. Hopefully, the competition itself can accommodate the talents and interests of students so that new stars can be born. This celebration is even more complete with other various activities, such as interactive quizzes, songs from alumni, and door prizes.
