President of the University Alumni Gathering: Meeting with the Founder, Dr. SD Darmono

On Thursday, February 10, 2023, President University (Presuniv) held a virtual alumni gathering. The event, which involved Presuniv alumni from various countries in the world, was also attended by Dr. Setyono Djuandi Darmono, founder of Presuniv and Chairman of the Jababeka Group. Besides that, also present Rector of Presuniv, Prof. Dr. Chairy, the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., deans and heads of study programs, heads of bureaus, several lecturers, and hundreds of Presuniv alumni are spread across a number of regions and several countries outside the country.

ICAEW Offers International Standard Learning Concentration Programs for Presuniv Accounting Students

Friday (24/2), at the Auditorium of President University (Presuniv), the Accounting Study Program (Prodi), held an event which invited the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The collaboration program between Presuniv and ICAEW itself has been held for the 2nd time, which aims to make students more interested in building international careers and making it happen. Mila Reyes, CPA., M.BA., as the Head of Accounting Study Program, was also present as a representative from ICAEW, Fany Renjana.

President Univ Introduce Prof. Ki-Chan Kim as International Chancellor

President University (Presuniv) officially introduced Prof. Ki-Chan Kim as the International Chancellor on Monday, February 27, 2023. Prof. Kim is a Management Professor at the Catholic University of Korea, South Korea, and a Distinguished Professor at George Washington University, USA. Prof. Kim’s introduction ceremony was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, Floor 5, Presuniv campus at Jababeka Education Park, Kota Jababeka, and Cikarang. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA, Chairperson of the President University Education Foundation, and all other foundation administrators. Also present was the Rector of Presuniv Prof. Dr. Chairy, the Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., the deans and heads of study programs, all lecturers, and other invited guests.

Taiwan Education Center Indonesia (TEC) Collaborates with the International Office, Presuniv & Shares Information about Scholarship & Internship opportunities in Taiwan

Taiwan is a country that has an excellent higher education systemand is world renowned. Tuesday (21/02), Taiwan Education Center Indonesia (TEC), Jakarta Regional Office held a seminar in collaboration with the International Office (IO), President University (Presuniv), entitled Scholarship Seminar: Study & Internship in Taiwan in 2023. The seminar was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, building A Presuniv campus, Cikarang, Agus Sofian Eka Hidayat as Head of International Office was delivered the opening remarks of the event, followed by material presentation by panelists consisting of Tirta Amerta Effendi as Manager and Putri Kartika Dewi as Assistant Manager.

Timor Leste Minister of Higher Education, Science and Culture, Longuinhos dos Santos, Visits President University

Tuesday (14/2), President University (Presuniv) received a visit from the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Culture of Timor Leste, Longuinhos dos Santos, along with his entourage. They included, the Director General of Higher Education, Science and Culture of Timor Leste, Filomena Lay, Executive Director of the Human Capital Development Fund Dr. Christovao dos Reis, along with the entire team from the ministry. The delegation from Timor Leste was welcomed by the Rector of the Presuniv Prof. Dr, Chairy, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Maria Jacinta Arquisola, BA, MHRM, PhD, Vice Rector for Resources, and Treasurer of the Education Foundation at President Justin Endramukti University , along with the heads of bureaus.

20 President Univ Students Receive CHEC Award

Thursday, 9 February 2023, at Building B, President University (Presuniv) campus, China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC), in collaboration with PT China Harbor Indonesia, awarded scholarships to 20 students. Present on this occasion were representatives from China Harbor Indonesia, namely Wang Yanyu, Norah Yang Shaojian, and Lin Yijiu, as well as representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, Liu Peng, and Ouyang Sha Chen. Meanwhile, from Presuniv, Rector Prof. Dr. Chairy, Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and several heads of bureaus.

Visual Communications Design (VCD) Study Program and the Interior Design, President Univ, Holds VCD Professional Practices in Design Sharing Session with Tomy Herseta

“Being a designer at a time like one should not  work alone,” said Tomy Herseta, a creative director from Bandung, who was invited to be a speaker at the VCD Professional Practices in Design event on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. The event was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, President University (Presuniv) campus in the Jababeka industrial estate, Cikarang was attended by both Visual Communication Design (VCD) and Interior Design (ID) students. This sharing session was guided by Lintang R. Anindita, a lecturer from the VCD Study Program. “Through this event, I encourage VCD and ID students to collaborate on projects,” said Lintang. She continued, “And, hopefully, Tomy Herseta’s sharing, which comes  from his experience, can provide inspiration and insight to students about the importance of collaboration.”
