What is the Investree business profile? For this reason, President University (PresUniv) held a webinar featuring Amir Amirrudin, the Co-Founder of Investree, Friday (05/03).
Amir shared his experiences when he started his startup, "I see that the fintech business opportunity in Indonesia is enormous. Especially now that almost all human activities use digital technology, which means one-click matters. "Amir founded Investree in 2016, and now his business has expanded to Thailand and the Philippines. He talked about the scheme and stages of building a startup. He explained the idea stage is when the founder has 100% rights over the business that will be undertaken, then the co-founder stage when the founder and partner share the proceeds 50%: 50%. The next scheme is family & friends, inviting friends and family to invest, then a seed round, which is getting investors. The next phase is series A; namely, the performance continues to increase, and investors increase. The last phase is when a company sells part of its shares to the public or an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Also, Amir explained the skill qualifications needed by someone who wants to work at a startup, such as leadership, entrepreneurship, adaption speed, technology knowledge - including social media knowledge, collaboration, integrity, the ability to innovate, data processing, and communication. He said, quoting the Nobel prize winner, Prof. Muhammad Yunus, "No human being is born to work for someone else. Bisnis fintech sedang berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Investree adalah salah satunya yang bergerak di bidang investasi atau peminjaman modal dan sudah diawasi oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Bagaimana profil bisnis Investree? Untuk itu President University (PresUniv) mengadakan webinar dengan menampilkan pembicara Amir Amirrudin, Co-Founder Investree, Jumat (05/03).
Amir berbagi pengalaman ketika merintis startup-nya, “Saya lihat peluang bisnis fintech di Indonesia sangat besar. Apalagi saat ini hampir semua kegiatan manusia memakai teknologi digital, yang berarti one click matters.” Amir mendirikan Investree pada 2016 dan kini bisnisnya sudah melebar ke Thailand dan Filipina. Ia bercerita tentang skema dan tahapan membangun startup. Paparnya, idea stage adalah saat founder memiliki hak 100% atas bisnis yang akan dijalani, lalu co-founder stage ketika founder dan partner berbagi hasil 50%:50%. Skema berikutnya adalah family & friends, yakni mengajak teman dan keluarga untuk investasi, lalu seed round, yakni mendapatkan investor. Fase berikutnya series A, yakni kinerja terus meningkat dan investor bertambah. Fase terakhir ketika perusahaan menjual sebagian sahamnya ke publik atau Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Selain itu, Amir juga memaparkan kualifikasi skill yang dibutuhkan seseorang yang ingin bekerja di startup, seperti leadership, entrepreurship, adaption speed, technology knowledge—termasuk social media knowledge, kolaborasi, integritas, kemampuan berinovasi, pengolahan data dan komunikasi.
