What's happening in PresUniv
Meigail Endrew Saroba and Gede Agus Wira Tanaya were elected as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of President University Student Council (PUSC) 2021. Then, Claresta Pirena Gandana and Nanda Eka Rizky Nur Cahyani as President and Vice-President of President University Student Union (PUSU) 2021.
The election for the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of PUSC and PUSU this year is different than from the previous years, because it was held online. Another difference, for the first time Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of PUSC were elected by all students. Previously, the election was held internally by PUSC members. Besides, for the first time, the Chairman and Vice-Chairman election of PUSC and PUSU was held simultaneously through President University General Election.
Although the election was held simultaneously, there were different stages. “For PUSC the regeneration process was held first before entering the election process for the chairperson. For PUSU, the president’s election was held first,” explained Violetta, Vice-Chairperson of PUSC 2020.
The process started with registration, administrative selection, followed by public debate, campaign week, and finally, the election. There are 4 candidates registered for PUSC. The specific criteria required to have a minimum GPA of 3,25 and experience as a PUSC member.
For PUSU, there are 2 candidates with particular criteria, which are minimum GPA 3,0 and the president already has experience as a PUSU member, while the vice-president has experience in one of the organizations in PresUniv.

Pertama Kali, Pemilihan PUSC & PUSU Serentak di PresUniv
Meigail Endrew Saroba dan Gede Agus Wira Tanaya terpilih sebagai Ketua dan Wakil Ketua President University Student Council (PUSC) 2021. Lalu, Claresta Pirena Gandana dan Nanda Eka Rizky Nur Cahyani sebagai Ketua dan Wakil Ketua President University Student Union (PUSU) 2021.
Pemilihan Ketua dan Wakil Ketua PUSC dan PUSU tahun ini berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, karena dilaksanakan secara daring. Perbedaan lainnya, untuk pertama kalinya Ketua dan Wakil PUSC dipilih oleh seluruh mahasiswa. Sebelumnya, pemilihan dilakukan secara internal oleh anggota PUSC. Selain itu, untuk pertama kalinya juga pemilihan Ketua dan Wakil PUSC dan PUSU dilakukan bersamaan melalui President University General Election.
Meski pemilihan dilaksanakan secara bersamaan, ada perbedaan tahapan. “Untuk PUSC diadakan proses regenerasi terlebih dahulu sebelum memasuki proses pemilihan ketuanya. Kalau PUSU, pemilihan ketua dilakukan terlebih dahulu,” jelas Violetta, Wakil Ketua PUSC 2020.
Prosesnya, dimulai dari registrasi, seleksi administratif, diikuti oleh debat publik, minggu kampanye, dan yang terakhir adalah pemilihan. Ada 4 calon yang mendaftarkan diri untuk PUSC. Kriteria khususnya, yaitu wajib memiliki IPK minimal 3,25 dan sudah berpengalaman sebagai anggota PUSC.
Untuk PUSU terdapat 2 calon dengan kriteria khusus, yaitu IPK minimal 3,0 dan bagi ketua sudah memiliki pengalaman sebagai anggota PUSU, sedangkan wakil ketua memiliki pengalaman di salah satu organisasi di PresUniv.
