Last Tuesday (3/11), the Student Affairs Bureau, President University Student Housing (PUSH), and Jababeka Peduli, a movement initiated by PT Jababeka Infrastruktur, held hydroponic cultivation training for students living in the President University Student Housing (PUSH). They are students of class 2020. This training aims to equip students to be able to use the land productively through farming activities.

The training opened by Sandy Darmowinoto, B.Sc. (Hons), M.IT., Vice-Rector of President University, was continued with an introduction to hydroponics, cultivation methods, care, and harvesting. Besides planting and caring for hydroponic plants, students are also taught how to breed catfish. "We will later enjoy the harvest with the students," said Donald Samuel, Head of the Student Affairs Bureau. (SD)

 

 

 

Pelatihan Hidroponik bagi Mahasiswa President University

 

Selasa (3/11) lalu, Biro Student Affairs, President University Student Housing (PUSH) dan Jababeka Peduli, gerakan yang diprakarsai PT Jababeka Infrastruktur, menggelar pelatihan budidaya secara hidroponik untuk mahasiswa yang tinggal di asrama President University. Mereka adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2020. Pelatihan ini bertujuan membekali mahasiswa agar mampu memanfaatkan lahan secara produktif melalui kegiatan bercocok tanam.

Pelatihan yang dibuka oleh Sandy Darmowinoto, B.Sc.(Hons), M.IT., wakil rektor President University, dilanjutkan dengan pengenalan tentang hidroponik, cara budidaya, perawatan hingga panen. Selain menanam dan merawat tanaman hidroponik, mahasiswa juga diajarkan beternak ikan lele. “Hasil panennya nanti kami nikmati bersama mahasiswa” ungkap Donald Samuel, Kepala Biro Student Affairs.
