Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto was appointed again as the Rector of President University (2020-2024 period). This is the second period in which previously, Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto became the Rector in 2016-2020.
Under his leadership, Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto has brought President University to achieve various achievements. One of the main achievements of President University is when President University was accredited A by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education in 2018 for the first time. Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto also has succeeded in bringing President University into the top 100 best universities in Indonesia from 2019 to the present based on the ranking of the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (now the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia).
President University has also made into Klaster Utama (Main Cluster) in the ranking of research performance-based universities for the period 2016 to 2018 that was held by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
Apart from the academic aspect, President University received appreciation as a "Top Contributor" for the highest number of news articles on QS WOWNEWS for 5 times in 2019 (in July, August, September, October, and December) from prestigious world university ranking agencies, namely Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
Under his leadership, lecturers and students at President University also won various awards.
In 2019, Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, succeeded in becoming Dosen Berprestasi (Outstanding Lecturer) in all of Indonesia for the Social and Humanities category in the Anugerah Diktendik Berprestasi 2019 held by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
In 2018, President University student, Novela Permata Sari won the top 8 National Outstanding Student award held by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. In the following year, Muhammad Ilham Razak won second place for Outstanding Students of West Java and Banten (Region IV Higher Education Service Institute, Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia).

Rektor President University Periode 2020-2024: Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto
Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto diangkat kembali menjadi Rektor President University (Periode 2020-2024). Ini merupakan periode kedua di mana sebelumnya, Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto menjadi Rektor pada tahun 2016-2020.
Dalam masa kepemimpinannya, Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto telah membawa President University mencapai berbagai prestasi. Salah satu prestasi utama President University adalah ketika untuk pertama kalinya President University mendapatkan akreditasi A oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi pada tahun 2018. Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto juga telah berhasil membawa President University ke dalam 100 besar perguruan tinggi terbaik di Indonesia sejak tahun 2019 sampai dengan sekarang berdasarkan peringkat Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia (sekarang Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia).
President University juga telah berhasil masuk ke dalam Klaster Utama pada pemeringkatan perguruan tinggi berbasis kinerja penelitian periode 2016 hingga 2018 berdasarkan Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia.
Di luar aspek akademik, President University mendapatkan apresiasi sebagai “Top Contributor" untuk jumlah artikel berita terbanyak pada QS WOWNEWS sebanyak 5 kali di tahun 2019 (pada bulan Juli, Agustus, September, Oktober, dan Desember) dari lembaga pemeringkat ranking perguruan tinggi dunia bergengsi yaitu Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
Dosen dan mahasiswa di President University di masa kepimpinan Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto juga telah berhasil meraih beragam prestasi.
Pada tahun 2019, Dosen Fakultas Bisnis, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, berhasil menjadi Dosen Berprestasi Nasional terbaik di seluruh Indonesia untuk kategori Sosial dan Humaniora dalam acara Anugerah Diktendik Berprestasi 2019 yang diadakan oleh Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia.
Pada tahun 2018, Mahasiswa President University, Novela Permata Sari, berhasil meraih predikat 8 besar Mahasiswa Berprestasi Nasional yang diadakan Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia. Pada tahun selanjutnya, Muhammad Ilham Razak berhasil meraih peringkat kedua Mahasiswa Berprestasi Jawa Barat dan Banten (Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi Wilayah IV, Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia).
