To facilitate students and alumni who are looking for jobs and internships, President University's Internship and Career Center (ICC) held a Virtual Internship and Career Fair on Thursday (30/7). On this occasion, ICC invited Lippo Malls Indonesia, as one of the largest mall companies in Indonesia, to attend as a speaker.
The first session was delivered by Filia Melinda Mais, Human Resources Department of Lippo Malls Indonesia. She mentioned that as a recruiter, she received dozens of CVs every day. Therefore, she explained several important points that students and alumni should pay attention to when writing a CV, namely the completeness data of the CV, an attractive and professional CV design, and the selection of fonts and colors that are easy-to-read. “Keep in mind that your CV is just one of hundreds or thousands of other CVs read by recruiters. So, it is recommended that your CV is straight to the point, not wordy, and does not take pages,” she said. She also mentioned LinkedIn as an important medium for prospective employees to find out about company culture and information about other job vacancies.
Currently, Lippo Malls Indonesia is opening internship positions for digital marketing and graphic design for final year students. Also, for full-time employee positions, alumni can apply for the positions of graphic design officer, account payable officer, strategic planning and creative section head, and senior finance supervisor for placements in the Jabodetabek area. Students and alumni can send applications to hrd@lippomalls.com with the subject "presuniv_name_position" so that Filia and her team can easily recognize and prioritize President University students and alumni.
Not only sharing job vacancies information, but Lippo Malls Indonesia also held sharing sessions. Through Brian Alfa Yoga, Business Development of Lippo Malls Indonesia, students, and alumni gain insights into how the experience of working at Lippo Malls Indonesia and how Lippo Malls Indonesia has developed its business to date having dozens of malls in various cities in Indonesia. President University Virtual Internship and Career Fair: Kesempatan Magang dan Bekerja Full-Time di Industri Retail
Untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa dan alumninya yang sedang mencari pekerjaan dan tempat magang, Internship and Career Center (ICC) President University mengadakan Virtual Internship and Career Fair pada Kamis (30/7). Kali ini, ICC mengundang Lippo Malls Indonesia, sebagai salah satu perusahaan mal terbesar di Indonesia, untuk hadir sebagai pembicara.
Sesi pertama dibawakan oleh Filia Melinda Mais, tim Sumber Daya Manusia dari Lippo Malls Indonesia. Ia menyebutkan bahwa sebagai rekruiter, ia menerima puluhan CV setiap harinya. Untuk itu, ia memaparkan beberapa hal penting yang mahasiswa dan alumni patut perhatikan saat membuat CV agar tidak diabaikan sang recruiter. Beberapa hal digarisbawahi oleh Filia adalah kelengkapan CV, desain CV yang menarik dan profesional, serta pemilihan font dan warna yang mudah dibaca. “Perlu diingat bahwa CV kamu hanyalah satu dari ratusan atau ribuan dari CV lain yang dibaca oleh perekrut. Jadi, disarankan CV kamu padat, langsung ke intinya, tidak bertele-tele, dan tidak berlembar-lembar,” ujarnya. Ia juga menyebutkan LinkedIn sebagai salah satu media penting bagi para calon karyawan untuk mengetahui budaya perusahaan serta informasi mengenai lowongan kerja lainnya.
Saat ini, Lippo Malls Indonesia membuka posisi magang untuk digital marketing dan graphic design bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Sementara itu, untuk posisi karyawan full time, alumni dapat mendaftarkan diri ke posisi graphic design officer, account payable officer, strategic planning and creative section head, dan senior finance supervisor untuk penempatan di daerah Jabodetabek. Mahasiswa dan alumni dapat mengirimkan lamarannya ke hrd@lippomalls.com dengan subject “presuniv_nama_posisi” agar Filia dan timnya dapat dengan mudah mengenali dan memprioritaskan mahasiswa dan alumni President University.
Tidak hanya membagikan informasi lowongan kerja, Lippo Malls Indonesia juga mengadakan sharing session. Melalui Brian Alfa Yoga, Business Development Lippo Malls Indonesia, mahasiswa dan alumni mendapatkan gambaran tentang bagaimana pengalaman bekerja di Lippo Malls Indonesia serta bagaimana Lippo Malls Indonesia mengembangkan bisnisnya hingga saat ini memiliki puluhan mal di berbagai kota di Indonesia.
