What's happening in PresUniv
On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv), held a public lecture titled "Life Cycle Assessment." This public lecture was conducted in a hybrid format. Some participants attended in the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor, Presuniv Campus on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang, while others joined online. The speakers for this public lecture were Dr. Rijal Hakiki, SST, MT, a lecturer from the Environmental Engineering Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Presuniv, and Dr. Ineu Widaningsih, ST, MT, a lecturer from the Industrial Engineering Program.
In this public lecture, the two speakers discussed the connection between Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Industries will continue to grow and develop, often with environmental consequences. "By understanding the data, we can calculate the amount of emissions from these growing industries," said Rijal.
