Published: 03 Apr 2024

Saturday, 9 March 2024, students from President University (Presuniv) held a Recycling and Crafts Social Workshop for the Jababeka area. The workshop, which intended to inspire environmental conservation and creative skills, was held in the Theater Room, President University Convention Center, Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. This event was initiated by 11 students of the International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Humanities. They named their group RePoSol "Call to Action".

This workshop combined recycling techniques with handicrafts. With this technique, Presuniv students teach creative ways to reuse various waste, such as paper, plastic bottles and cloth, and turn them into useful works of art. Apart from reducing waste and creating products that can be resold or used in everyday life, this workshop also encourages students and individuals to adopt a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. “We are very excited to launch this project and share our knowledge and skills with the community. "We believe that with collaboration and joint efforts, we can make significant positive changes for the environment and community," said M. Farhan, one of the initiators of this activity.
