On Thursday, March 14, 2024, faculty members and students of the International Relations Study Program at the Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), visited the Ornamental Fish Cultivation Research Center (Balai Riset Budidaya Ikan Hias or BRBIH) of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Depok, West Java. According to Dr. Indra Alverdian, a faculty member of the International Relations Study Program, "This visit aims to enhance students' understanding of the opportunities in ornamental fish cultivation and the ornamental fish minapolitan program developed by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries."

               During the visit, the team of International Relations Study Program was welcomed by the Head of BRBIH, Dr. Joni Haryadi, M.Sc. There, Joni Haryadi presented about the Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) and the business potential of ornamental fish, especially for the export market. The day's agenda continued with a field visit to the Arowana Cluster, LoCa Feed Maggot Indonesia, ornamental fish showroom, fish ponds, and aquatia. At these locations, students received explanations from instructors and technicians regarding the types of ornamental fish and feed developed by BRBIH. (JB Susetiyo, PR team.
