What's happening in PresUniv
On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the Faculty of Business at President University (Presuniv), in collaboration with the President University Faculty Association (PUFA) on Business and the Accounting Club, organized a seminar titled "Socialization of LPS Call for Papers 2024 on Achieving Sustainable Economics in the Era of Financial and Business Disruptions." This seminar was aimed at students and faculty members to enhance their research skills with practical impacts. Dr. Supeni Anggraeni Mapuasari, SE, M.Sc., a lecturer in the Accounting Program Study (Prodi) and also the chairperson of the seminar committee, stated, "Through research skills with good practical impact, it is hoped that the results of this research could provide input that may result in practical applications. Especially if the research provides insights which will assist in creating prudent and stable macroeconomic policies."
Dr. Joseph Ginting, CFA, a lecturer in the Accounting Program Study (Prodi) and also a speaker at the seminar, expressed, "Can global factors with their respective economic systems disrupt the economic stability of Indonesia or the global business financial system? That's one example of a topic. We need to enable research in this area ." The seminar, held online via the Zoom application, was attended by staff from the Deposit Insurance Corporation (Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan, LPS), as well as faculty members and students.
