What's happening in PresUniv
On Monday, March 4, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at President University (Presuniv) conducted an online sharing session with Ririn Handayani regarding strategies for obtaining scholarships from the Education Fund Management Agency (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan or LPDP) under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. Ririn is an alumna of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program from the batch of 2017. She was awarded a scholarship to pursue further studies in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Central South University (CSU), China, including an internship opportunity at GEM Co. Ltd., a company engaged in waste recycling and new energy businesses.
The online seminar aimed to provide information for students interested in pursuing postgraduate studies with scholarship funding. Throughout the event, Ririn explained the process, sharing tips and insights on securing an LPDP scholarship. This encompassed preparation, the initial application process, and her journey to China.
