On Monday, March 4, 2024, students of the Accounting Program, Faculty of Business, President University (Presuniv), visited Mandiri Sekuritas at Menara Mandiri, Jl. Jend. Sudirman, Jakarta. They participated in the seminar "Invest Today to Shape Your Tomorrow" with speaker Theodora VN Manik, Director of Mandiri Sekuritas.
During the seminar, Theodora explained various aspects of the capital market and investments. She said, "We need to understand investment instruments and comprehend their respective risks. After that, we can choose investment instruments that suit our preferences." Another speaker, Luthfi Afif, a Technical Analyst from Mandiri Sekuritas, added, "Even political events can affect the performance of stocks in the capital market."
Dr. Josep Ginting, Coordinator of Capital Market Concentration at Presuniv, stated, "By learning directly from experts, students can immediately grasp current issues in the capital market and apply them directly." Meanwhile, Dr. Supeni Anggraeni Mapusari, SE., M.Sc, a lecturer from the Accounting Program, hoped that this event would enhance the financial literacy of students and enable them to optimize their future financial performance.
