On Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Internship & Career Center (ICC) and Alumni Bureau of President University (Presuniv) conducted a benchmarking study at Gadjah Mada University (Universitas Gadjah Mada or UGM) and the Islamic University of Indonesia (Universitas Islam Indonesia or UII) in Yogyakarta. "We conducted this benchmarking study to explore new ideas to enhance the quality of services for both Presuniv students and our alumni," said JB Susetiyo, the Director of ICC.

            During the visit to UGM, the ICC team and Alumni Bureau were received by Dr. Sulistyowati, M.Hum., the Head of the Alumni Office, Career Development Coordinator Merryta Andriani, SE, Akt., and Nindi Mabruri Asnan, SIP, MA, and Dewi Novyantari, S.Ant., both alumni managers. Various topics were discussed during the visit. "At UGM, career development activities are mainly carried out by study programs and faculties because they better understand the needs of their students," explained Sulistyowati. She also elaborated on various alumni management programs, mentioning that many activities are independently organized by alumni. Regarding the endowment fund, Sulistyowati stated that it is directly managed by the university.

            During the visit to UII, the ICC team and Alumni Bureau were received by Lifthya Ahadiati Akmala, S.Psi., M.Psi., the Head of the Career Development Division, and staff including Afanina Arbin Maula, SM, and Abdulrazzaq Dzaky. Throughout the visit, the ICC team and UII discussed various technical issues related to internship program implementation, including those related to the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program. Regarding the endowment fund, Lifthya mentioned that UII has not initiated fundraising yet. "We are still preparing its governance structure first," she emphasized. (JB Susetiyo, PR team.
