What's happening in PresUniv
The International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, President University (Presuniv), in collaboration with the President University Major Association for International Relation (PUMA IR) 2023, joined forces to organize the screening of the film "Grand Paris" at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang, Bekasi, on Friday, November 24, 2023. The film screening was part of the 2023 French Cinema Festival program organized by the Institut Francais Indonesien (IFI). Present at the event were Syarah H. Andriani, the Head of Institut Francais Indonesien (IFI) Wijaya, Catheryn Andi Guezennec as the French tutor at IFI Wijaya, Budiman Sejatmiko as a course assistant, and Adam Kantar and Heloise Croise, who are both teachers from Labschool, Cibubur.
The film screening event, hosted by MCs Aliyah Diva and Lintang, began with a speech from the Secretary of the International Relations Study Program, Dr. Jeanne Francoise. She stated, "The collaboration between Presuniv and IFI needs to continue and should be formalised with the signing of a memorandum of understanding." According to Jeanne, the film screening is a fun way to enhance the French language skills of International Relations Study Program students.
Meanwhile, Syarah Andriani expressed IFI's delight in collaborating with Presuniv, including through film screenings. She emphasized, "This is also our way of spreading the culture of freedom of expression (liberte de s’exprimer) as always practised by the French people."
