On Wednesday, November 7, 2023, the Internship and Career Centre (ICC) team fromPresident University (Presuniv) visited to Directorate of Digital Business (DDB) office of PT Telkom Indonesia located in Bandung, West Java. The ICC team, led by Director ICC JB Susetiyo, was received by Sendylenvi Regia, Talent Operations at Telkom Indonesia, who also serves as the Internship Coordinator at DDB Telkom, along with her team. During the visit, JB Susetiyo highlighted the internship programme at Presuniv, including its objectives. "We want more students to be recruited directly by companies as employees after completing their internship program," said Susetiyo, who is commonly known as JBS.
During her presentation, Sendylenvi also outlined the internship program operated at Telkom. "We align Telkom's internship program with the internship program with the precepts of the Kampus Merdeka initiative program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, as well as the internship program guidelines from the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises," said Sendy. She also discussed the various challenges faced by Telkom in running their internship program, particularly in managing interns, most of whom are from Generation Z. "Nevertheless, we are pleased to contribute to developing the potential of students through the internship programme because we know they will play a crucial role in realising Indonesia's Golden Age by 2045," emphasised Sendy.
