On Monday, October 30, 2023, the Industrial Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv), received a visit from the Industrial Engineering Study Program from Langlangbuana University (Unla), Bandung. This visit was part of a benchmarking study and preparation for the accreditation process by the Independent Accreditation Agency (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri or LAM) for Engineering, as well as part of the student association's work plan to support the accreditation process. The delegation from the Industrial Engineering Programme was welcomed at the Fabrication Laboratory, President University Convention Centre, located on the Presuniv campus in Jababeka City, Cikarang, Bekasi.

Present for at event were Dr. Riris Nurjaman, ST, MT, Vice Dean 3 of the Faculty of Engineering, Unla, Dr. Siti Rosimah, ST, MT, IPU, Head of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, and R. Ismet Rohimat, ST, MT, the Secretary of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, along with several laboratory heads, bureau heads, and staff and faculty members of the Industrial Engineering The Unla delegation was received by Dr.-Ing Erwin Sitompul, M.Sc., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Presuniv; Andira Taslim, ST, MT, Head of the Industrial Engineering Study Program; and Dr.Eng Lydia Anggraini, ST, M.Eng, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Studi Program, along with several faculty members and staff from the Faculty of Engineering at Presuniv.

In his welcome speech, Erwin Sitompul stated, "Some time ago, we also underwent a visitation by assessors. Nevertheless, we can learn from each other in facing the visitation by LAM Engineering." Meanwhile, Andira Taslim added, "We can exchange information and share strategies so that we can progress more quickly." During this occasion, both the Industrial Engineering Study Program at Presuniv and Unla shared information about their facilities, curriculum, and organisational structure. (JB Susetiyo.
