Thursday, 6 April 2023, Prof. Dr. Drs. Slameto, M.Pd. who is a lecturer in the Primary School Teacher Education (PSTE) Study Program, President Univ (Presuniv), officially becomes Professor Emeritus or Professor Emeritus. This emeritus title is given to a professor who has entered retirement age, but is still asked to work by a university. The inauguration event which was held in a hybrid manner was held at the MM Tech Classroom, Building A, 4th floor, Presuniv Campus at Jababeka Education Park, Kota Jababeka, Cikarang.

Present at the event was the Rector of the Presuniv Prof. Dr. Chairy, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Handa S. Abidin, SH, LL.M., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Human Resources Maria Jacinta Arquisola, B.A., Ph.D., MHRM, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr.-Ing. Erwin Sitompul, M.Sc, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Dr. Endi Haryono, M.Sc., Head of PSTE Study Program Ani Pujiastuti, Ph.D, and other Presuniv academics. On this occasion, Prof. Chairy expressed his pride and appreciation for Prof. Slameto who is pleased to continue to contribute in organizing lectures at Presuniv, especially in the PGSD Study Program. "He is an example for all Presuniv lecturers. His persistence in advancing the world of education is enviable and an encouragement so that we can all make a quality contribution," said Prof. Chairy.

During his time as a lecturer at Presuniv, Prof. Slameto is not only active in teaching, but also diligent in researching, publishing publications, and doing community service. Several books that have been written by Prof. Slameto, among others, Class Management, Educational Supervision, Research-Based Learning Model, Educational Research and Innovation Methodology, and several others. said Prof. Slameto, "Hopefully this title as professor emeritus can encourage me to continue to be involved in academic activities, such as research, mentoring, and teaching at Presuniv."
