Friday, May 5 2023, Innoverse Stands for Innovative Research Week (Innoverse) 2023 is back with the topic The Ultimate Way to Develop Your Thesis. Innoverse is an annual agenda managed by the President University Student Council or PUSC. Innoverse 2023, which was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, 5th floor of Building A, Presuniv Campus, presented two speakers, namely Genta Sahuri, a lecturer in the Information System Study Program, Presuniv, and Head of Student Affairs Bureau Donald Samuel Slamet Santosa.

Donald in his presentation discussed how to choose a research topic. Among them, there is a gap between theory and reality on the ground, there is a loss, there is something important and urgent, so it needs to be resolved immediately. “Finding a topic is a process. So, it may take some time to find a suitable topic. Don't be afraid to explore lots of ideas and seek input from others,” said Donald.

Another problem is maintaining focus during the final project writing. To overcome this, said Genta, there are several things that can be done. For example, being diligent in communicating, keeping up to date with information, keeping your spirits up, enjoying the process, and seeking support from seniors who can help. Genta shared his tips, “Celebrate small accomplishments during the research process, such as completing a chapter or reaching a target word count. This will help us to stay motivated and focused on the end goal.” (Lita Gabriella, PR team. Photo: Innoverse 2023)
