Thursday, April 13, 2023, Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Business, President University (Presuniv), held a Seminar Career Preparation entitled BA CRATION 2023: Maximize Your Potential for A Brighter Future at Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, Presuniv Campus, Jababeka Education Park, Cikarang. The speakers at the event were Dio Rizky Anamia, Talent Management Growth & Product Operations from Aksel, Vidi Gilang Baskara, and Jovan from Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas.
Dio shared tips and tricks on writing a good Curriculum Vitae (CV), which is easy to read by recruiters and track with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS-Friendly). "To make it easier for HR to read your CV, make it a habit to write your work experience in order. Start from the most recent and end with the latest, then put work experience that is relevant to the job we being applied for. Besides experience, we can highlight soft skills aspects in the CV, using your achievements during college," said Dio. CV writing can differ depending on the culture, country, and type of job.
Vidi presented material about the introduction of the APP Sinar Mas and how to brand yourself through LinkedIn by participating in campaigns and boosting your profile to attract the attention of recruiters. Meanwhile, Jovan shared his experience while working at APP Sinar Mas. Vidi and Jovan stated that APP Sinar Mas opens internship opportunities through the Kampus Merdeka program for students and the Management Trainee program for Presuniv fresh graduates.
