What's happening in PresUniv
On Friday, April 14, 2023, the President University (Presuniv) Off-Campus Study Program (PSDKU or Program Studi di Luar Kampus Utama) located in Pekanbaru, Riau, received a visitation from the teams of the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI or Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi) Region X and LLDIKTI Region IV. Regarding the involvement of the two LLDIKTI, because PSDKU Presuniv is in Pekanbaru, Riau, which is the auspices area of LLDIKTI X. Meanwhile, the main campus of Presuniv in Cikarang, Bekasi, is under the auspices of LLDIKTI IV.
The PSDKU visitation activity was attended by the Head of LLDIKTI X Afdalisma, SH, M.PhD., and the Head of LLDIKTI IV, Dr M. Samsuri, S.Pd., MT. This visitation was also attended by the Rector Presuniv Prof. Dr Chairy, and the Head of Task Force Team of the PSDKU Presuniv Dr Chandra Setiawan, MM, PhD. Also present was Sarkawi from the Peputra Manggala Nusantara Foundation (YPMN or Yayasan Peputra Manggala Nusantara), who is Presuniv's strategic partner in PSDKU.
Afdalisma welcomed PSDKU Presuniv in Pekanbaru City. She said, "I hope PSDKU Presuniv will be a stimulus for other private universities in LLDIKTI X to increase their higher education accreditation (APT or Akreditasi Perguruan Tinggi) to A or Unggul. Moreover, until now, there has not been a single private university in my area that has been accredited A." Meanwhile, Samsuri emphasized that the opening of PSDKU will have a positive impact on the development of quality of education in various regions as well as improve the performance of private universities in Indonesia.
