Wednesday, 29 March 2023, the Information System Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, President University (Presuniv), obtained international accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE). IABEE is an independent accreditation body member of the international accreditation organizations the Washington Accord and the Seoul Accord. IABEE-accredited study programs will prepare graduates to meet international standards and obtain international qualifications.
Presuniv Rector Prof. Dr. Chairy expressed his pride in the achievement of the Information Systems Study Program. He said, "By obtaining this accreditation, this offer additional opportunities for every graduate of the Information System Study Program. This increases there opportunity to have a career in multinational companies, both in Indonesia and abroad." This achievement, continued Chairy, aligns with Presuniv's vision as an international university.
Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science Rila Mandala, Ph.D, revealed that the lecturers and staff of the Information System Study Program wanted their study program to be internationally accredited. "To achieve this, we periodically socialize the importance of international accreditation, the various requirements that must be met, the stages and ways to achieve them," said Rila. Meanwhile, the Head of the Information Systems Study Program, Ronny Juwono, says the importance of maintaining these achievements.
