What's happening in PresUniv
Jannie, a student of the 2020 Batch Environmental Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, President University (Presuniv), became a representative for PT Pertamina Internasional Eksplorasi and Production (PIEP) Region 5 in supporting the implementation of the 2023 National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month, Thursday, March 9 2023. Jannie becomes a PIEP representative in the framework of the Certified Student Internship Program (PMMB).
The theme for this month's K3 is Realizing Generative HSSE Culture and Superior Asset Integrity Management to Support Pertamina's Business Sustainability. One of the programs is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Challenge or basic rescue actions, especially for heart attacks. Says Jannie, “I never expected to use basic first aid knowledge. But, in an emergency, if we know what we have to do, it's certainly very important for someone's life. Usually, we give oil and water when someone is unconscious, or in some other emergency.
