On Wednesday (23/11) the Bureau of Internship and Career Center (ICC), President University (Presuniv), again held Virtual Internship and Career Fair, or VICF 2022. At this event, ICC presented H&M Indonesia. "We want to recruit new Presuniv graduates to join the Logistics Management Trainee (MT) program," said Nurtria Meiradiani, Human Resources Director of H&M Indonesia. In his presentation, Nurtria explained more detail the requirements to become an MT candidate in logistics. She explained, "Candidates must undergo training in store operations, handling import and export matters, inventory, transportation, and management reports."
Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) is a multinational company founded in 1947 that produces various fashion products. "We at H&M do not only produce fashion, but sustainable fashion that is always available for many people at affordable prices," said Karina Soegarda, Communication Manager for H&M Indonesia. Sustainability issues will continue to be a concern for H&M Indonesia. For example, by 2021, as much as 80% of H&M's fashion products will be produced from recycled materials and sustainable sources. In fact, 27% of the raw materials for H&M fashion products have been processed from plastic. "That's why we are collaborating with Danone on utilizing leftover plastic drink bottles," said Karina.
