President University (PresUniv) continues to improve its facilities in order to support academic activities for both students and lecturers. One of the new resources, now available is access to the Springer e-Journal database. Springer provides a variety of high-quality content, including journals for lecturers, students, and researchers. To socialize this new capability, the Adam Kurniawan Library, PresUniv conducted a training event entitled "Training to use Springer Journal with an Expert" at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, PresUniv Campus, Thursday (15/9).

This event consisted of two sessions and the training was presented by Deden Ramdhani from I Group who explained how to access the Springer database and other related features. Head of Library Adam Kurniawan Neilany Edwina, S.Sos., M.Sc. conveyed, that this database is very useful for both lecturers and students, this new resource will support the learning process on campus. "Students can easily look up references, such as journals that are required when writing theses," she said.

According to Neilany, Springer has many advantages over the other online providers, due to the range of topics covered and the size of its database. “Usually, journal database providers only focus on one topic or field. Springer is different, so students and lecturers from various study programs at PresUniv can take advantage of it because of its diverse scope,” she explained. To access the Springer database, users can log in automatically if connected via PresUniv WiFi. If it is not connected to the campus WiFi, PresUniv academics can apply to the Adam Kurniawan Library to get a username and password. (Gilang Suryanata, PR team. Photo: Gilang)
