The Covid-19 pandemic has changed how people work. One of affected areas is that of Human Resources (HR). Information technology is now the primary means of recruiting new employees when face-to-face meetings cannot be held. This was one of the areas covered in the webinar titled “Technology and Talent Acquisition” held by the Postgraduate Study Program Master of Technology Management (MM Tech), President University (PresUniv), Tuesday (15/3). According to World Economic Forum data, 50% of workers will need to update their skills by 2025. This is because it is forecasted that 85% of the jobs in 2030 have not been thought of yet. So, employees must learn to renew their mindset and skills. Lanny said currently, the recruitment process prioritize skills. Moreover, current job vacancies are open globally because the company's policy is to implement an online work system. Lanny also emphasized the importance of that every employee build a personal brand. "The digital era provides the opportunity to share information about yourself on the internet. So it is necessary to create your personal brand," said Lanny.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gurfie shared his opinion about the importance of companies paying more attention to their employee's condition. According to him, several points should be made: Pay attention to employee career growth and job satisfaction. This will create a sense of belonging to the company, a sense of pride in being involved in the organization, and ultimately guarantee the company's future. "People need to feel they're growing.
