Wednesday (16/3) The Internship and Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv) held the 3rd session of its Virtual Internship and Career Fair (VICF) 2022. ICC invited PT Bukit Vista for this event; a company engaged in business property management with an online platform. Apart from offering opportunities to prospective interns and recent graduates, Bukit Vista CEO Jing Cha Yang also shared his experience in Building Self-Resilience. "Building self-resilience is necessary for students who want to pursue a career as a professional but do not yet have sufficient experience," said Jing.
Jing shared his experiences of building resilience when he was establishing Bukit Vista. (Founded in 2011) and in managing properties in the Yogyakarta and Bali areas, Jing admits that he has experienced failures. However, these did not make him give up, and these failures inspired him to keep learning and innovating. According to his experience, Jing shared some suggestions that may be useful when we face obstacles; changing your perspective by seeing failure as a first step on the road to success, being willing to invest in yourself by taking risks, choosing an environment that can help you to find new opportunities, and choose an employer who can help you to improve your skills and knowledge.
