The Faculty of Medicine (FoM), President University (PresUniv), held a webinar in order to provide information to potential candidates on  Thursday (25/2). The webinar was entitled “Question and Answer of Clinical Opportunities to Become a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine” presented Prof. Dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, dr., Sp.A(K), M. Kes., Dean of FoM PresUniv. The webinar was attended by doctors from the Regional Public Hospital of Bekasi (RSUD), Bekasi Health Service, Permata Keluarga Hospital, and various other hospitals.

On this occasion, Budi announced that PresUniv wanted to recruit specialist doctors who wanted to become lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine PresUniv. According to Budi, being a lecturer and doctor at the same time will provide variety in their daily activities. He revealed, “This comes from my own experience. At first, I only practiced in the clinic, now I can teach, conduct research, and perform community service. More variety and less boredom.”

Budi explained the framework for the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine PresUniv. He explained, currently, the first step is to build an excellent curriculum and a systematic, focused, lecturer training program, in a 13-week workshop. This curriculum will be implemented by lecturers, teaching staff, and select students. Budi also said that FoM PresUniv already has a roadmap summarised by the tagline “From Jababeka for Indonesia to the World''. (Silvia Desi Betrice, PR team. Photo: Silvia)
