What's happening in PresUniv

Published: 19 Feb 2022

Saturday (19/2), Bureau of Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), again held an Internship Briefing. This is the 4th session of 5 briefing sessions. Internship Briefing is intended for students who will have an internship in May 2022. The briefing material includes regulations on internships, processes and procedures before and after the internship, documents that students must complete, and the assessment system. The materials were presented by ICC staff, Yandri Toar and Lina Rosmawati.

In opening the Internship Briefing, ICC Director JB Susetiyo emphasized the importance of students making internships as an opportunity to be recruited directly by the company where they did the internship. "Nowadays, more and more companies are using internships as a medium for recruitment," said JBS, JB Susetiyo's nickname. In order to be directly recruited, JBS continued, during their internship, students need to show that they have a growth mindset, are disciplined, communicative, and dare to go beyond. “So, if your supervisor asks you to finish a job in seven days, try to force yourself to finish it in five or six days. That goes beyond. Work beyond expectations," said JBS. (Silvia Desi Betrice, PR team. Photo: JB Susetiyo).
