Wednesday (10/11), Qlue Smart City, with President University (PresUniv), held a webinar Essential Soft Skills For Early Jobbers. This webinar aims to educate early jobbers so that they understand and quickly adapt to the world of work to succeed in their careers. The webinar presented two speakers, namely Sri Daryanti, MM, Deputy Head of the Career Development Center of the University of Indonesia (UI), and Yovin Andrian, Enterprise Solution Manager of Qlue.

According to Sri Daryanti, early jobbers need to have a work ethic. Why? "Work resilience will affect the results of their work. In addition, in the world of work, everyone is required to be able to work together with other people who have different personalities," he said. Sri also emphasized the need for early jobbers to have communication skills to communicate effectively and active listening, namely being able to listen to other people's arguments and paraphrase them well.

Meanwhile, Yovin emphasized the need for early jobbers to participate in various online training to compete and hone their skill sets. "If you already have a skill set, it must be balanced with a positive attitude," added Yovin. Another soft skill that early jobbers must possess is adapting, curiosity, and willingness to keep learning. (Lita Gabriella, PR team. Photo: Lita Gabriella).
