Internship and Career Center (ICC) Bureau, President University (PresUniv), held a webinar with Kalbe Nutritionals (KN), Tuesday (3/8). The KN Sharing 2021 x PresUniv webinar was attended by students and alumni of PresUniv, and numerous universities from various cities in Indonesia. The webinar entitled “Essentials Thing to Prepare Your Successful Career” presented speaker Isa Dwiyono, Human Resource Business Partner at KN. In his welcoming remarks, JB Susetiyo, Director of ICC, said that this topic is very important and relevant for students and alumni in the middle of the VUCA era, making things volatile, uncertain, more complex, and confusing. Especially during a pandemic like now. "Hopefully, this webinar can help students and alumni to prepare for their careers in situations like this," he said.

The webinar started with the sharing from Rosaline Anggun, KN Branding Employer, who introduced KN to the participants. She also added that the participants could submit their CV to join the internship at KN. Meanwhile, Isa Dwiyono, in his sharing session, said that to have a successful career needs preparation starting from college. In addition to preparing hard skills, soft skills, such as adaptability, creativity, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and communication, are also very important to learn. Isa said a successful career could be started by getting a job first. Hence, two important things need to be prepared to get a job, which are CV writing and interview grooming.

Isa stressed the importance of making an attractive CV. “A CV has to attract attention in order to be selected from many applicants and the short time recruiters have,” he stated. Isa then explained the essential contents that should be in a CV, including giving examples of how to make a good CV. Meanwhile, for the interview session, he revealed two types of interviews, namely Standard Interview and Panel Interview. He said the key to passing the interview stage is preparation. "Things that need to be prepared are time, appearance, questions that may be asked, resume, and supporting documents," he detailed.
