President University (PresUniv) in collaboration with the Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU), successfully held a national webinar entitled Mewujudkan Dunia Usaha yang Kompetitif Melalui Penerapan GRC, Monday (14/6). This webinar was hosted by Gaguk Yudiarinto, Psi, MM., Executive of the SOE Excellence Forum. This webinar discusses the application of GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) in the business world to create a competitive business climate in realizing national economic efficiency.
Drs. Gatot Imam Nugroho, Ak., MBA, CA., Lecturer of PresUniv Accounting Study Program, said "I think it is our common desire that the business world will be competitive and profitable with the implementation of GRC which is still very relevant today." Meanwhile, Esther Roseline, Professional GRC Consultant, emphasized that the implementation of GRC serves as a concept that keeps the company's internals in sync and prevents miscommunication.
Furthermore, Esther explained, "GRC itself can ensure that strategic decisions made by top-level management have considered the risk management and compliance aspects." Gaguk hopes that the implementation of GRC in the Indonesian economic sector can genuinely build a business climate that is not only conducive but also competitive.
