Tuesday, (6/4), the Internship and Career Center (ICC) Bureau, President University (PresUniv), held another Virtual Internship & Career Fair (VICF) 2021. This time the topic discussed was Job Seekers 101: Hacks to Get Recruiter Attention! delivered by two resource persons from Stevland Bridge, a management consultant that focuses on developing human resource potential. They are Edwin Djakaria, Director of Stevland Bridge, and Wirahadi Agung, People Development Associate at Stevland Bridge. More than 120 students participated in this event.

According to the topic, this VICF discussed tips and tricks when applying for internships or jobs, mainly so that applicants can attract recruiters' attention. This is very important because it will help open up more significant opportunities to be accepted in the targeted job. This material was divided into two sessions. The first session was titled Gossip vs. Facts: What's on Recruiter's Mind? delivered by Edwin Djakaria. In his session, Erwin revealed some of the myths and facts about recruiters that widely spread among job applicants.

After that, it was continued with the second session entitled Great CV to Attract Recruiter's Mind by Wirahadi Agung. Wirahadi is an alumnus from the International Relations Study Program, PresUniv (batch 2015). In his session, Wira conveyed more technical matters, namely how to make a good CV, which could attract recruiters attention. This is very important, considering that most of the first contact between applicants and recruiters is via CV. So, an attractive CV will certainly help the recruitment process. Both Wira and Edwin distributed materials according to their respective experiences, with the hope to help PresUniv students when applying for internships or jobs. (Silvia Desi Betrice, PR team. VICF 2021 Tips Menarik Perhatian Perekrut

 

Selasa, (6/4), Biro Internship and Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv), kembali mengadakan Virtual Internship & Career Fair (VICF) 2021. Kali ini topik yang dibahas adalah Job Seekers 101: Hacks to Get Recruiter Attention! yang dibawakan oleh dua narasumber dari Stevland Bridge, sebuah konsultan manajemen yang berfokus pada pengembangan potensi sunber daya manusia. Mereka adalah Edwin Djakaria, Direktur Stevland Bridge, dan Wirahadi Agung, People Development Associate di Stevland Bridge. Lebih dari 120 mahasiswa ikut dalam acara ini.

Sesuai topiknya, VICF kali ini membahas tips dan trik saat melamar magang atau pekerjaan, kususnya agar pelamar bisa menarik perhatian perekrut. Hal ini sangat penting untuk dilakukan karena akan membantu membuka peluang yang lebih besar untuk diterima di pekerjan yang dituju. Materi ini dibagi menjadi dua sesi. Sesi pertama berjudul Gossip vs. Facts: What’s on Recruiter’s Mind? yang disampaikan oleh Edwin Djakaria. Dalam sesinya, Erwin mengungkap beberapa mitos dan fakta mengenai perekrut yang banyak tersebar di kalangan para pelamar pekerjaan.

Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan sesi kedua berjudul Great CV to Attract Recruiter’s Mind oleh Wirahadi Agung. Wirahadi adalah alumni dari Prodi Hubungan Internasional, PresUniv (batch 2015). Dalam sesinya, Wira menyampaikan hal-hal yang lebih teknis, yaitu bagaimana membuat CV yang baik, yang mampu menarik perhatian perekrut. Ini sangat penting, mengingat kebanyakan kontak pertama antara pelamar dan perekrut adalah lewat CV. Maka, CV yang menarik tentunya akan membantu proses rekrutmen. Baik Wira dan Edwin membagikan materi sesuai dengan pengalamannya masing-masing, dengan harapan dapat membantu mahasiswa PresUniv saat melamar magang atau pekerjaan. (Silvia Desi Betrice, tim PR.
