Indonesia has now been included in the list of COVID-19 confirmed cases. In response to this, President University carries out a body temperature check on all students, lecturers, education staff, and guests starting on March 3, 2020. The body temperature check was conducted in front of the entrances of Building A and Building B of President University. It was carried out to ensure that all President University members are healthy and protected from COVID-19. Students/lecturers/education staff/guests who have a body temperature of ≥37.3 ° C (WHO’s standard) are not allowed to enter the President University building and urged to seek the necessary medical treatment.
Prior to the identification of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia, President University has taken a number of preventive measures, among others by providing hand sanitizers in strategic points/corners within the campus area starting from the end of January 2020. Other than that, President University has also carried out dissemination of information pertaining to the prevention of COVID-19 via email, students and lecturers online portal (President University Information System), and putting on infographics about COVID-19 by WHO on strategic places such as notice boards and the toilets.
The dissemination of information will be carried out continuously by President University as an attempt to encourage positive awareness and active participation among the big family of President University to take care of their health as well as others'. Furthermore, we exercise these practices to ensure that learning activities can be carried out comfortably and safely. All students, lecturers, and staff are suggested to always maintain cleanliness, have an adequate rest, and eat nutritious food to avoid contracting any diseases.
President University Ajak Warganya Aktif Menangkal COVID-19
Indonesia kini telah masuk dalam daftar jajaran negara terpapar COVID-19. Menanggapi hal ini, President University memberlakukan pemeriksaan suhu badan kepada seluruh mahasiswa, dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan tamu mulai 3 Maret 2020. Pemeriksaan suhu badan dilakukan di depan pintu masuk Gedung A dan Gedung B President University. Pemeriksaan dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa seluruh keluarga besar President University sehat dan terhindar dari COVID-19. Mahasiswa/dosen/tenaga kependidikan/tamu yang memiliki suhu tubuh ≥37,3°C (standar WHO) diminta untuk meninggalkan gedung President University dan diimbau untuk segera melakukan tindakan pengobatan yang diperlukan.
Sebelum kasus COVID-19 diindentifikasi di Indonesia, President University juga telah melakukan sejumlah langkah pencegahan COVID-19, antara lain dengan menyediakan hand sanitizer di titik-titik strategis kampus sejak akhir Januari 2020. Selain itu, President University juga melakukan sosialisasi dengan menyebarkan informasi terkait pencegahan COVID-19 melalui email, portal online mahasiswa dan dosen (President University Information System), dan pemasangan poster WHO mengenai COVID-19 di tempat-tempat strategis seperti mading dan toilet.
Sosialisasi akan terus dilakukan President University sebagai upaya untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran yang positif dan partisipasi aktif dari keluarga besar President University untuk menjaga kesehatan diri sendiri dan orang lain di sekitarnya. Lebih lanjut, upaya ini dilakukan agar kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat dilakukan dengan nyaman dan aman. Seluruh mahasiswa, dosen, dan tenaga kependidikan diimbau untuk menjaga kebersihan, istirahat yang cukup, serta mengonsumsi makanan bergizi guna terhindar dari berbagai penyakit.
