The President University Catholic Society (PUCATSO) again came out as the general winner in the 2020 Cup Aksi Sosial Natal Bersama (CAN), an annual event held by Pastoral Mahasiswa Keuskupan Agung Jakarta-Unit Selatan (PMKAJ-US). The event consisted of friendly competition (CUP) between Catholic students throughout PMKAJ-US, social action, and Christmas celebrations. This event was held in Depok, West Java on 1-2, 8 February 2020.
Pucatso won 6 awards from the 7 branches of the race that they were competed in. The awards won by Pucatso are the 1st winner of Male Basketball Competition, 1st winner of Mobile Legend Competition, 1st winner of Tug of War Competition, 2nd winner of Vocal Group Competition, 2nd winner of Female Volleyball Competition, and 3rd winner of Male Futsal Competition.
"It has become a tradition for Pucatso to participate in the competition held by PMKAJ and from 2018, we have always been the general winner in this competition," said Farrell Fabrian, a Communications student batch 2018 who is also a member of the Pucatso futsal team.
The Pucatso team leader in this competition, Steven Tjandang Wijaya, said that the PMKAJ competition was the right place to strengthen solidarity between all Catholic students at President University and maintain good relations between Catholic students at President University and Catholic students at other universities in the West Java region. Pucatso Keluar sebagai General Winner dari Kawasan Jawa Barat pada PMKAJ Cup 2020
President University Catholic Society (PUCATSO) kembali meraih gelar juara umum dalam ajang Cup Aksi Sosial Natal Bersama (CAN) 2020, acara tahunan yang diadakan oleh Pastoral Mahasiswa Keuskupan Agung Jakarta-Unit Selatan (PMKAJ-US). Acara ini terdiri dari ajang pertandingan (CUP) persahabatan antar mahasiswa Katholik se-PMKAJ-US, aksi sosial, dan perayaan Natal bersama. Acara ini diadakan di Depok, Jawa Barat pada 1-2, 8 Februari 2020.
Pucatso mendapatkan 6 penghargaan dari 7 cabang perlombaan yang diikuti. Adapun penghargaan yang diraih adalah Juara 3 Kompetisi Futsal Laki-laki, Juara 2 Kompetisi Voli Perempuan, Juara 1 Kompetisi Basket Laki-laki, Juara 1 kompetisi Mobile Legend, Juara 1 kompetisi Tarik Tambang dan Juara 2 kompetisi Vocal Group.
“Sudah menjadi tradisi untuk Pucatso mengikuti kompetisi yang diadakan PMKAJ dan sudah dari tahun 2018, kami selalu menjadi juara umum di kompetisi ini,” ujar Farrell Fabrian, mahasiswa program studi Komunikasi angkatan 2018 yang juga merupakan anggota tim futsal Pucatso.
Ketua tim Pucatso dalam perlombaan ini, Steven Tjandang Wijaya mengakatan bahwa perlombaan oleh PMKAJ ini merupakan wadah yang tepat untuk menguatkan solidaritas antara seluruh mahasiswa Katolik yang ada di President University dan menjaga hubungan baik antara mahasiswa Katolik di President University dengan mahasiswa Katolik di universitas lain di kawasan Jawa Barat.
