On Saturday, February 24, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine at President University conducted a seminar as part of Scientific Month, the event focused on the Development of Research and Publications in the Medical Field. The seminar took place at the Fabrication Laboratory, President University Convention Center, Jl. H. Usmar Ismail, Jababeka City, Cikarang. The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Research, and Innovation, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, ST, MBA, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, Sp.A(K)., M.Kes, as well as dozens of participants, including faculty members, students, and the President Research Center team.
This seminar featured two speakers, namely Prof. Bachti Alisjahbana, dr., Sp.PD-KPTI, Ph.D., and Prof. Nur Atik, dr. M.Kes., MOHRE, Ph.D., both of whom are professors at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung. During the event, Prof. Bachti discussed various topics, such as understanding the steps of research and its methodology, generating impactful research ideas aligned with funding, proposal drafting strategies for research grants, and research grant schemes for faculty members.
Meanwhile, Prof. Nur Atik presented materials on research ethics, the use of Artificial Intelligence in crafting proposals, research, and publications, as well as the writing of scholarly publications. The seminar also revealed 16 research proposals that have been generated and reviewed by the speakers.
