What's happening in PresUniv

While studying at President University (PresUniv), students do not only focus on their academic activities, but they can also participate in various non-academic activities. These activities can play an essential role in building and expanding their networks. One of these activities is the Sport Olympiad President University (SOPU) 2022, this is the biggest annual sporting event held at PresUniv. The entire PresUniv academic community, including lecturers and staff, participated in this years event. SOPU 2022 was held from the  3rd June to 12th July 2022.

 

 

 

This year, SOPU 2022 events was in a hybrid form where some of the  events where held online and others offline. The type of sports included in this years SOPU 2022 where basketball, chess, volleyball, billiards, table tennis, futsal, and E-sports (PUBG, Valorant, and Mobile Legends). M. Nopriansyah Mahendra, Vice Project Manager of SOPU 2022 is delighted to be able to feel the joy again with this hybrid SOPU. “This SOPU has the aim of uniting all PresUniv students from the various majors. For this reason, all activities that could be carried out offline have been run that way and they have a positive impact," he explained.

Mahen hopes that this activity can be a turning point for all activities or events at PresUniv to be able to return to normal as before the pandemic. "Hopefully SOPU 2022 can become a role model for the following year. Of course, next year's SOPU must be merrier and the number of sports being contested can increase.
