It was a program developed by PresUniv in collaboration with PT Jababeka & Co and Fablab with the theme Implementation of Smart Ecosystem 4.0 through Jababeka Smart Township Super-App Based on Open Innovation. Jababeka & Co. is a subsidiary of the Jababeka Group, while Fablab is an institution engaged in HR training and Industry 4.0-based business development.

This PKM program received funding assistance from the Research Program of Freedom Learning Freedom Campus Policy and Community Service Based on Research Findings and Paripurna PTS, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology for the budget year 2021. support from the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek).

In this seminar, Dr. Adhi Setyo Santoso, ST, MBA (in Information Technology & Media) explained his PKM concept. He also explained that there are two advantages in developing the Jababeka Smart Township Super-App, namely based on Smart Ecosystem 4.0 and carrying the concept of Open Innovation. He further explained, “Smart Ecosystem is a digital platform that is open to the joining of various other innovative applications. The key factor is that the application must be integrated with various other applications in Jababeka Smart Township.” Meanwhile, the understanding of the Open Innovation concept is that applications that fill Smart Ecosystem 4.0 will not only be developed jointly by PresUniv, Fablab, and Jababeka but also involve external parties. So, it is not closed or exclusive but inclusive or open. (JB Susetiyo, PR team. Photo: JB Susetiyo)
