Cikarang, Indonesia—President University held a guest lecture with one of the financial technology start-up, Taralite, themed “How to Start your Business in Digital Era” which took place in President University campus (24/5). The event attended by Leonardy Kristianto (Product Manager Taralite), Adhi Setyo Santoso, (Director Setsail BizAccel dan lecturer of Business Administration President University) and approximately 70 students.
In this event, Leonardo explained on better career opportunity in start-up business. Continuous innovation is one of the factors why start-up is a sector with a rapid progress. He compared few start-up companies five years ago and described the progress of their success up to this day.
He also shared preparation tips that must be done by students to be able to have a career start-up company. "One of the things that can help in the preparation to join the start-up company is by having lots the internship experience because once the students graduate, they will have a lot of work experience," said Leonardy.
The event closed with a question and answer session and photo session. "I hope with this event the students can see the wide opportunities offered by start-up world," said Leonardy.

Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh Leonardy Kristianto selaku Product Manager Taralite, Adhi Setyo Santoso, Direktur Setsail BizAccel dan dosen Administrasi Bisnis President University dan setidaknya 70 mahasiswa.
Dalam acara ini Leonardo menjelaskan mengenai peluang karir yang semakin baik di dalam dunia start-up. Inovasi yang tiada henti menjadi salah satu faktor mengapa start-up merupakan ranah yang kemajuannya berkembang dengan pesat. Ia melakukan perbandingan perusahaan-perusahaan start-up lima tahun yang lalu dan memaparkan perkembangan kesuksesannya hingga sekarang ini.
Ia juga berbagi tips mengenai persiapan yang harus dilakukan mahasiswa untuk bisa berkarir di dunia start-up. “Salah satu yang bisa membantu dalam persiapan masuk dunia start-up adalah dengan memperbanyak pengalaman magang karena begitu mahasiswa lulus, mereka sudah mempunyai pengalaman bekerja yang banyak,” ungkap Leonardy.
Acara ditutup dengan sesi tanya jawab dan foto bersama. “Saya berharap dengan ini para mahasiswa bisa melihat peluang besar yang ada di dunia start up,” ujar Leonardy.
